See a show at the Globe

Recreated like the original theatre, the Globe stands a stones throw away from Borough tube station. Dedicated to the works of Shakespeare it is both a museum and a theatre.

Take part in workshops, lectures and staged readings or simply watch your favourite Shakespeare play such as Romeo and Juliet from a seat or standing position like ye days of old.

Tickets are £5 standing or £20 – £45 for the seated galleries.

 

Afternoon Tea at Claridge’s

If you fancy something…well a little fancy then why not enjoy a lovely cup of tea and a few cakes at one of London’s posh hotels ‘Claridge’s’.

Served daily 2:45pm, 3pm, 3:15pm, 3:30pm, 4.45pm, 5pm, 5:15pm & 5:30pm you can expect the a combination of finger sandwiches, scones served warm, and sweet pastries.

Prices: £60 per person £30 for a childrens tea

The Monument

The monument is a doric column erected in memory of the Great Fire of London which was finished in 1677. It has a stone stair case of of 311 steps leading to a viewing platform. The platform boasts 360 degree panoramic views of London.
